Reaching 100 followers — let’s support each other!

Hiya! I’m Tiani, a newbie writer here on Medium.

You can guess why I’m writing this article, can’t you?

If you’re reading this, you’re probably like me — trying to gain 100 followers so as to be accepted into the Medium Partnership Program.

There are mixed reviews on the tried and tested methods of gaining 100 followers. Some say to let your follower count grow organically, to only follow people who you’re interested in. Others are firm believers in the follow for follow method.

I’ve seen elitist writers throw shade on newbies that are just trying to be accepted into the program. Honestly, in my opinion there is no shame in trying — hence the ‘help me and I’ll help you’ post!

I have ideas and passions to share here on Medium and I’d love to join the 100 club.

I’d love to give other writers a chance and follow them, even if their niches are different to mine. I’m eager to immerse myself in reading, and be open to new perspectives and opinions.
